Finally back in the Sierra. I had been way too long.
I had flown in the previous night, and Big John picked me up. Originally we had wanted to leave right away from the airport for the mountains
but my flight was delayed, it was already 10pm, and we decided to spend the night in Davis and leave early Wednesday to head into the Sierra.
