The last day of my five day final-I-am-about-to-leave-California-outing. And of course that occasion called for something special. How often had I driven into and through Bishop always eyeing this peak. Needless to say I had wanted to climb it for years, but somehow there were always other mountains to climb. Until today.

Luckily, the beautiful post-fall weather was still holding up and I would again at the end of the day get to the summit in just a T-shirt.
