After sleeping at Upper Boyscout Lake, I went up to saddle between Whitney and Russel (passed Iceberg Lake) where I encounter ferocious conditions.
Therefore I turned around and did not do Hale and Young, but the Pinnacle Ridge connectiong Thor Peak and Whitney and then Thor itself. After that I returned to
LBLake and picked up my stuff and headed out.
